In February 2026 our master students had the opportunity to take part in a study visit to Sofia, exploring the dynamic and fast-growing Bulgarian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Over the course of several days, the students engaged with key institutions shaping innovation, entrepreneurship, and business development in the region. From policy-makers and universities to venture capital funds and startups, the experience offered a comprehensive perspective on how ecosystems are built and sustained.
Our hosts and partners were:
BESCO – The Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association – Bulgarian Startup Association
Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski
HPC-Lab (SofiaTechPark) & TechnoMagicLand
CampusX & ElevenVentures (11.VC)
LaunchHub Ventures
eMAG Bulgaria
JuniorAchievementBulgaria
Embassy of Romania in Bulgaria
Beyond the formal meetings, this experience strengthened the understanding of how collaboration between academia, business, and public institutions can drive meaningful economic and social impact.
