In our journey of discovering the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Romania, we came to Timișoara, a vibrant city with innovative companies.
Over three intensive days, we explored Timișoara’s thriving startup landscape from every angle. We visited the local business university, toured entrepreneurial hubs and co-working spaces, and met with innovative local companies. But more importantly, we connected with the people who make this ecosystem work: founders building ambitious ventures, investors backing bold ideas, and professors nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The students didn’t just observe entrepreneurship—they experienced it through candid conversations about real challenges, failures, pivots, and successes. They saw firsthand how a supportive ecosystem can accelerate innovation and how collaboration between academia, business, and investment creates opportunities.
The students gained new knowledge, expanded networks, received fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of what it takes to build ventures in today’s dynamic environment.
