Mihaela Cornelia Dan has more than 20 years’ experience in teaching and research. She has a Ph.D in strategic marketing and a postdoctoral research degree in regional development.
Her main research focus on entrepreneurship and its impact on the society and community, regional development, consumer needs and strategic marketing.
She conducted several projects financed with European and national funds with the objective to researching and sustaining entrepreneurship for young people from less developed regions of Romania (e.g. POSDRU Start-Up, POCU Start-up Plus, IDEI)
From 2016 to 2019 she was the manager of the “Student Entrepreneurial Society” an entity of ASE responsible with the promotion of entrepreneurship, organizing events including a business idea contest (GoBiz) and delivering entrepreneurship courses for students interested in starting their own business.
Since 2010 she is the managing partner of a service provider in the sports industry, especially delivering timing services for sport events (cross, marathons, biking, triathlon etc.).
