Exploring entrepreneurship beyond the classroom.

Recently, students from the Master’s Program in Entrepreneurship of Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages (FABIZ-ASE) took part in a study visit to Vienna, Austria, with the aim of gaining deeper insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Central Europe. The group was led by our colleagues, Prof. Ionela Dumitru and Prof. Mihaela-Cornelia DAN.
The program began at the Romanian Embassy in Vienna, where students learned about initiatives designed to attract, support, and scale start-ups. This was followed by meetings and visits with both start-ups and multinational companies, offering valuable perspectives on the dynamics of the Austrian economic environment and innovation landscape.
The academic journey concluded at the Entrepreneurship Center of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where students discovered how entrepreneurship is actively fostered within the university community and how business ideas are transformed into ventures even during student years.

We thank our partners, the Embassy of Romania in Austria, OMV, and Raiffeisen Bank International AG, and we are grateful for their valuable support and contribution to the organization of this educational experience.
